Buteyko Breathing Method Event

Last month we had long term members Lachie and Connie, two Clinical Naturopaths and Buteyko Breathing Practitioners, come share some insights with our community into how to breathe properly.

They went into great detail about the physiological functions of the nose, including the production of nitric oxide, and what this then does for the body (e.g. helps regulate blood pressure).

It was also interesting just how much incorrect breathing impacts children and how that knowledge has been largely lost. For children, it can impact the jaw and teeth development (i.e. needing braces) and so much more.

Lachie and Connie demonstrated lots of simple practical exercises to the group, with the aim of retraining the breath.

Correct breathing can help with:
Asthma, anxiety, panic attacks, insomnia, sleep apnoea, digestive function, energy levels, stress reduction, mood and more.

It was such an informative conversation that we were appreciative to host, and one that is so important for all.

Will we see you at our Botanical Easter Egg Dyeing workshop coming up? We hope so!
